Bon Voyage

TL;DR Journal update below; warpy returns to dA-land!

The beginning of a new year came and went, and I spent most of it looking outside an airplane window :0

I spent most of the transition between 2017 and 2018 traveling (including a vacation from my hectic, high-speed lifestyle to escape to Japan and buy Kirby merch for a week). And just after getting back from that trip, I'm abroad again on my first full-time job working at an actual company (more art about that later)!


The way I've been living reminds me very much of the way I depict Jecra: a badass warrior on a mission across miles and miles, ready for anything, stopped by nothing, feared by everything. And it's...tiring to live that way. I thought I'd stopped living like that but it's tempting to be that way again.

Sometimes I have to look out the window and just enjoy the scenery.
